kananaskis country
Just an hour or so drive from Banff lies one of my favourite places to hike - K Country.
This region is made up of multiple provincial parks and protected areas and provides (in my opinion) some of the most stunning trails in western Canada. Kananaskis has infinite jagged arêtes with incredible vantage points to enjoy the endless layers of landscape. It has provided me with some of the most impressive lighting conditions to shoot in over the years. Couple this with diverse hiking trails, wild flowers galore, and teeming with wildlife - there’s no wonder I keep being drawn back to location.
