An Ode to Christmas in Banff

An Ode to christmas in banff

This poem was written whilst sipping gin by the fire in our home in banff on boxing day. A moment of juniper-infused reflection followed:

โ€˜โ€˜Twas the day after Christmas, and all through the town... heads were still fuzzy and feasting went down. ๐Ÿพ
Stomachs still full, of turkey and sprouts... too much was eaten, without a doubt.๐Ÿ—

Whether lobster at Mels, wings at Waldhaus, or a cheese fondue at the Grizzly House. ๐Ÿง€
A glass of wine at Grapes, or a stein at Brew Pub...there was laughter, stories and a whole lot of grub. ๐Ÿ‡
The exchange of gifts and festive cheer... missing our families at this time of year. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ

But Banff brings joy in the people we meet.... the best adopted family here on Beaver Street. ๐Ÿพ
For Christmas in Banff is a special time... the snow, the mountains, the views are sublime. ๐Ÿ”
So this festive season, let one thing be clear... keep your loved ones close, and hold them dear. โค๏ธ

In this little mountain town, where dreams come true... health, happiness and love from my family, to you. โ„๏ธ

Merry Christmas ๐ŸŽ„
